I've started 2015 as a highschool student trying his best to get accepted at his chosen Institute of technology. That moment probably is one of my most ambitious moment in my life.
before this year I am:
- A lazy kid who doesn't keep telling himself that he is smart enough, even though he have an awful record on most of his exam
- a person who will go home at 5 PM at straight to playing games
- a person who will go to sleep at 10 to 11 PM no matter how hard the test will be
- somebody doesn't have any clue what kind of that he wanted
- somebody who will not even think to be a staff participant at an event
- somebody who doesn't care on how to actually write a report or proposal correctly
- somebody who never even think on writing a paper
Well, this year have been AMAZING to me. I started to actually work and study really hard for my test and task this year. this might seems like something that most people do, but not for me. I do everything carelessly, before this year that is. I actually sleep at 1 AM to actually study. I've stopped playing my games and start doing my job.
I actualy DO those things
I even remember when I got sick from "to much studying"
Even better, I basically evolve (pokemon kind evolving, not those evolving over generation thing) from a highschool student into a College Freshman. I'm currently studying at Tenth November Institute of Technology in Surabaya. I actually move from my comfy home to Surabaya. And event better, I choose one of the most dreadful major, Engineering. not just that, I actually have the courage to follow my passion and choose Engineering Physics as my Major. most people would ask me 3 times to makes sure they hear me. And most shocking of all, I actually volunteer myself to take care of some events. If future me tell past me that I would VOLUNTARILY take care of an event, I would have laugh for hours.
And as an engineer, I started going home between 9 PM - 1 AM from my campus. That is a lot of improvement, 1 year ago, I would have nag for hours if I went home at 8 PM from school. I basically have submerged myself in a sea of task and deadlines.
2015 have been a big game changer for me
I hope 2016 will show me even more surprises and positive changes
